With this victory, Eintracht Frankfurt moved up to fourth place in the league table, just one point behind third-place Borussia Dortmund. It is a huge boost for the team's chances of securing a top-four finish and avoiding relegation.

Meanwhile, VfL Bochum, despite their efforts, remain in danger of being relegated to the Bundesliga 2 after only six games this season. They will need to turn things around quickly if they hope to avoid a drop down to the second tier of German football.
