Bayer Leverkusen has secured their second win of the season in the Bundesliga after defeating Borussia Dortmund by two goals to one at home on Saturday.

The match was tightly contested throughout but it was Bayer Leverkusen who emerged victorious thanks to a brace from Schick and a goal from Wirtz.

Schick scored his first league goal for the club with a powerful header that beat the Dortmund goalkeeper to the near post. It was a well-deserved goal for the Czech striker who has been in impressive form this season.

Wirtz then added another goal in the second half with a clever finish that beat the Dortmund defence before slotting past the goalkeeper. The 17-year-old is showing great promise as a young player and is sure to be a star in the future.

Overall, it was a fantastic display of football from both teams but it was Bayer Leverkusen who came out on top. They will now look to continue their winning run as they take on Eintracht Frankfurt next week.
