Erling Haaland has been named the Premier League's Player of the Month for September, with Manchester City forward earning the accolade after scoring six goals in four games.

The Norwegian striker, who is currently on loan at City from Borussia Dortmund, was named in the team of the week following his impressive performances against West Ham United, Burnley and Aston Villa.

Haaland's goal-scoring form has been crucial to City's recent success, with the club having won three out of their last four matches. He scored two goals in City's 4-2 win over Liverpool at Anfield, before netting a hat-trick in a 5-1 victory over West Ham United at the Etihad Stadium.
