Olivier Giroud is a French professional football player who plays as a striker for the Serie A club AC Milan and the France national team. He was born on February 25, 1988, in Le Plessis-Robinson, France.

Giroud began his career with local club Paris Saint-Germain (PSG) before moving to Chelsea in England in 2007. He made his debut for the Blues during the 2007–08 season and quickly established himself as one of their most important players. In just three years at Stamford Bridge, he scored over 60 goals and helped them win several domestic and European titles.

In January 2018, Giroud joined Arsenal from Chelsea for a fee of €42 million. He immediately made an impact at Emirates Stadium, scoring 13 goals in his first season and helping the Gunners win the FA Cup.

However, Giroud's time at Arsenal was not without controversy. He clashed with manager Unai Emery and was eventually sold to AC Milan in June 2020 for €15 million. Despite being out of contract at the end of the season, Giroud signed a new deal with the Rossoneri until 2024.

At AC Milan, Giroud has been a key player for the club, scoring 17 goals in 30 appearances this season. His performances have earned him praise from fans and fellow professionals alike, with many comparing him to legendary strikers such as Diego Maradona and Michel Platini.

Despite facing competition from other forwards like Zlatan Ibrahimovic and Rafael Leão, Giroud remains a valuable asset for AC Milan. With his versatility and ability to score goals from different positions, he is likely to continue making an impact for the club in the coming seasons.
